2FA (Two-factor authentication)

Glossary

What is 2FA (Two-factor authentication)?

Two-Factor authentication is an extra layer of security used to ensure the person accessing a website is who they say they are. It is used to prevent unauthorized access, as users must provide two pieces of information: usually a password and a verification code. This code is sent to user’s registered email or mobile device, making it difficult for hackers to gain access. Two-factor authentication helps protect personal data from theft or misuse and offers peace of mind when logging in.
